About the Journal
Eastern Buddhist (0012-8708) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Eastern Buddhist Society, carried articles on all aspects of Buddhism as well as classical Buddhist texts and works by modern Buddhist thinkers. We publish research articles, special issues (special focus sections), discussions, critical notes, review essays and book reviews.

Aims and Scope
Papers published in the journal cover many aspects of Buddhism, including Buddhist history and contemporary Buddhism, Buddhist thought, sociology & Buddhism, cross-cultural ethics, ethics, philosophy & Buddhism, psychology & Buddhism, Buddhist history, Buddhist art, Buddhist education, Buddhist literature, Buddhist architecture, Buddhist theory and the interaction between Buddhism and other religions, etc.
